Accessibility at Business Collegessa

Business College Helsinki is located in Itä-Pasila in a building completed in 1978. Below you will find information on barrier-free routes into the building, as well as contact details for guidance and support with moving around the premises.

You can access the building on foot via a ramp between the SLK building and Haaga-Helia, through the gate at the end of Veturimiehenkatu, leading to the 1st floor.

Inside the building, staircase B is equipped with automatic doors or electronic door-opening buttons. The student toilet on the 1st floor near staircase B is equipped with electronic door-opening buttons and includes an accessible (wheelchair-accessible) toilet. The lifts in staircases A and B are reserved for staff and persons with reduced mobility. Access to the lift requires a key card, which can be provided to those who need mobility assistance.

In the dining area, assistance is available from kitchen staff. If you require regular assistance, this can be arranged in advance. You can also agree on support with the College Coach supervising the dining area.

Vehicles and taxis can access the underground parking hall via Veturimiehenkatu if transport to the school requires it. Unfortunately, no parking spaces are available. The garage door can be opened from the Info desk, where you can also request further instructions. There is an intercom in the garage connected to the Info desk.
