For guardians
Cooperation with guardians is key to successful studies. We offer many opportunities for guardians to follow the student’s progress and be involved.
Student administration system Wilma
Wilma is our institution’s student administration system, which allows you to easily follow a student’s progress and studies.
You will receive your Wilma login key by post when studies begin, and the account is valid until the student turns 18. After that, the student may choose to allow continued access.
With Wilma, you can:
- Communicate with teachers
- Follow study progress and timetables
- Report and clarify absences
Parents’ evenings
Parents’ evenings offer an important opportunity to get to know the institution and meet staff.
For first-year students, a parents’ evening is held in September. Parents of double qualification students are also invited to an additional event in the second year, just before the matriculation examinations. You are warmly welcome to hear updates and ask questions.
HOKS coaches
Every student has a personal HOKS coach who supports study planning and progress throughout their studies. Together with the student, the coach creates a Personal Competence Development Plan (HOKS), which is updated regularly during studies. If needed, guardians can also take part in preparing the HOKS and support the student.
The name of the student’s HOKS coach can be found on Wilma’s front page under the class teacher section. As a guardian, you can contact the HOKS coach regarding any study-related matters.
Cooperation with guardians is important to us. If you have questions or wish to discuss the student’s progress, please do not hesitate to contact the HOKS coach or school staff. Together we can ensure the best possible study path for the student.
