A vocational qualification provides eligibility to apply for further studies. You can also complete pathway studies during your upper secondary education and gain admission to a university of applied sciences (UAS).

A double qualification provides a solid foundation for your future. Nelli and Toivo are first-year double qualification students, meaning they are completing both a vocational qualification and the Finnish matriculation examination.

There’s plenty to do at Business College
You won’t be stuck just sitting in a classroom with us. There’s plenty to do and learn by doing through various projects both inside and outside the school.
Good to know about applying
The spring 2025 admission thresholds in the joint application were as follows: Business 21 points, and Information and Communications Technology 17 points.
Selection for the double qualification takes place after you have been accepted into one of the vocational qualifications. Admission is based on your academic subject average (in spring 2025 approximately 7.9 for Business and 7.4 for ICT). There is no entrance exam in the joint application, but a language test may be required if you apply through discretionary admission due to insufficient language skills or a foreign certificate.
