Enjoy an active student life at Business College Helsinki
Wellbeing and activity are an essential part of the student experience. Student life is much more than just completing your studies!
You will find a wide range of sports opportunities, relaxing spaces, and student clubs that support your studies and enhance everyday student life.
BC Lounge – A relaxing meeting place
The BC Lounge is a safe and comfortable space open to all students, offering a place for relaxed socialising. Between lessons, you can unwind, play games, spend time with friends, or borrow and read books.
With the iWall game wall, you can also challenge yourself and your friends with interactive physical games. In addition, a community coach is often present to provide support and guidance for maintaining wellbeing.
The lounge is located on the YK floor.
Snacks and energy from the kiosk
The BC Kiosk offers a wide selection of snacks and essentials for students. You can find, for example:
- Coffee, soft drinks, and other beverages
- Sweets, snacks, and cup meals
- Study supplies such as notebooks and pens
- Branded products
The kiosk is located on the 2nd floor.
Student restaurant Pääraide
Restaurant Pääraide offers students delicious and healthy lunch options, which are free of charge for full-time students.
Pääraide provides three lunch options daily, one of which is vegetarian. Lunch includes a salad, one drink, and fresh bread. The menu also features themed days—occasionally offering items such as burgers or international dishes.
You can find detailed opening hours and menus on Pääraide’s website.
Gym and sports hall
Our gym is located on the AK floor and offers a wide range of equipment for strength and endurance training. The gym is available to students when it is not reserved for teaching or other bookings—so you can work out whenever it suits you.
The sports hall is used not only for physical education classes but also as a place to play during breaks. You can join teacher-led sports sessions or play games such as basketball, floorball, or futsal with College Coaches. During breaks, the AK floor lobby also offers opportunities for table tennis and billiards.
Student clubs
Various clubs are available for students to join based on their interests. Clubs provide a great opportunity to meet new people, learn new things, and spend time together as part of the student community.
Our goal is to create an environment where students can focus on their studies, wellbeing, and community. Welcome to explore the diverse opportunities on campus—here, you can bring energy and enjoyment into your student life!
